Here’s a blast from the past: Disney‘s first Touchstone Pictures release, Splash starring Tom Hanks, Daryl Hannah, John Candy, and Eugene Levy. A romantic movie about a little mermaid falling in love with a human and the (literal) fish out of water story of her exploring mankind for the first time – how was this not released under the Disney label?
